Today I was pleasantly surprised on the scale... I was down again!
I suppose I should put a number to things... I mentioned that I had gained about 40 pounds back... so if you knew my starting weigh, you could do the math... but I was too embarrassed to actually put it out there. When I stepped on the scale 2 weeks ago, it said 312.2
Yikes! Today though, after 2 weeks of NOT eating out like a crazy person *but still once in awhile like a normal person!* and cooking some tasty meals at home... I am at 305.2! So, in 2 week's time, just making a small modification to my life, I lost 7 pounds! That is progress I am pleased with!

Time to check in chickie! I hope you have been doing ok or better yet GREAT! :D ((((SUPER HUGS))))
that is wonderful!!
And this also shows how easy weight can come back. That's the reason we have to work on it the rest of our lives, day after day after day.
Good luck sticking to your plan!
This is the first time I've read your blog...after reading your post dated July 15, I'd like to suggest you read the book Intuitive Eating. I read it recently and it is a godsend.
I've lost 50 pounds twice...kept it off for a long time (2-5 years)--then regained even though I was continuing with the lifestyle changes food wise... got to the point where I ate little calorie wise, and was gaining weight, and having to deal with constant hunger.
I was so frustrated I gave up trying to lose what I'd regained...as you know, even WW is telling us now "diets don't work"..o.k. then, what does? BTW--I'm a WW lifetimer...hahaha...
Well--for me--Intuitive Eating. I love it. It points out that dieting only adds to the problem instead of addressing the real issue that leads to excess weight. And it teaches one how to eat normally.
Just learning how the hunger scale works and applying it to whatever diet your're doing is a huge help. You might want to read it if you haven't already done so.
pssst... how are ya? :)
