So I'm supposing that it's time to get my ass in gear... again. I'm begrudgingly telling myself that it's grossly inappropriate to watch The Biggest Loser while eating double fudge brownie ice cream two weeks in a row.
lol I used to do the same thing when watching the first season of BL. I would be so inspired by them, but sit and eat chips and bricks of cheese during the show.
Also, there is a great article in this months Cosmo about shopping at the dollar store for some real deals on a lot of things. Check it out if you can (maybe its online?)
lmao! can i just say you sound like me? i still haven't had a chance to get fruits and veggies from the store because the shelves still aren't stocked after the power outage. so this week (and the last two weeks too, for that matter) i kinda just said screw it. and while watching the biggest loser i was drinking a frosty from wendy's and eating a cheeseburger. ACK!
No beating yourself up, my beauty. When you're ready, you'll do it. Speaking in my professional capacity as a therapist, changing food habits is by far the most difficult change anyone can make, for the simple reason that we can't go "cold turkey" on food: we have to have it. So, remember, this is a mountain you're climbing; you gotta do it little by little. Hugs 'n kisses, Amy
Do the best you can. Maybe a small change like baby carrots and dip (or hummus) or even low fat popcorn for your TV snack. Sometimes we just gotta get strict with outselves for our own benefit.
