Things that have changed since losing 40 pounds:
--I can go up the 3 flights of stairs to my apartment w/o being winded
--I'm more confident about my appearance
--Two words: on top.
--Very few body aches
--I don't even dream about going through the McDonald's drive thru (or any drive thru) on the way to work
--Or on the way home
--I like to drink water
--I'm trying foods I thought I "didn't like"
--I notice parts of my body that have changed or gotten smaller, instead of focusing on the flaws

Things that I still need to work on:
--I don't like exercise and I don't do it regularly
--I don't yet recognize my body's signs that it's satisfied
--I don't get in all my servings of fruits/veggies and milk per day

I LOVE your lists, Teale! It's good to reflect on how far you've come! And... lemme tell ya... I am definitely looking forward to experiencing some of those good changes for myself! lol

I feel like all of last year was truly a learning experience for me. I can't wait to write a list of my own soon!

The changes can be so subtle at times that it is good to do an assessment once in awhile and take note of how far you've come.

tha is a great post, you have so much to be happy about since losing weight and I know you will be able to get where you want to on those last 3 things. love #3 on the first list, lol!

I love the list!!! I am bad about exercise and getting in my milk and learning when my body is telling me that it's satisfied too!

Isn't it interesting how fast food loses it's appeal?

Exercise just has to be a habit for me. I can't give myself an option not to go, or I don't. You can do it!
