Week in Review

Well, today was my WW meeting. I went this morning instead of this evening since today is my day off this week. I would say that I had a really good week. I journaled everything I ate, and I got all my water in 5 of 7 days. That's great for me!

This weekend I went to the movies & shared popcorn with my friend. I accounted for all the points. I can't go to the movies & NOT have popcorn. It's worth the points to me, so that's that. While I wasn't worried about going over points, I was a little concerned that the salt would cause me some water weight gain. I think that because I had been drinking water like a fish, that helped me not have water weight.

My current weight is 285.2, which is a 2.4 pound loss since last week! Go Teale!!! That's 42.4 pounds lost since the end of August. I feel pretty darn good about that!

This week is going to be a challenge for me. We're facing a bit of a financial struggle right now, and I'm doing my best to not turn to food for comfort. So far so good. I'm also going to be spending a couple days with a friend in Iowa, but I'm pretty sure she'll be flexible and we can eat at WW-friendly places or cook WW friendly meals.

My next goal is to hit 50 pounds by February. It might be a lofty goal, but I think I can do it. We'll see!

congrats on your loss! that is fantastic. it must be so exciting to be so close to 50 pounds lost. im sorry to hear about your financial situation, but be glad you are keeping your emotions in check by not turning to food. remember how far you have come and there are other ways to relieve your stress/anger/fear/whatever. sometimes it helps to make a list of stress relievers and turn towards them when you feel you want to eat.

Well done on another excellent loss! You are doing so well!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but I know that you won't just blow everything you've worked so hard for. Things have a way of working out.

Look forward to seeing you hit the 50 lb mark!

Wow! Sounds like you had a fantastic week! Congrats on the weight loss! Good for you! You are going to have 50 pounds off before you know it, girl!

Sorry to hear about the stress you're under right now! Hang in there, girl! Trust me... eating will NOT make it better. If you feel like eating, just get online and blog. It will help to write about your feelings instead of turning to food.

(((((Teale)))))

PS: I hope you have a great time with your friend! :)

The workbook is another book that goes WITH my Carbohydrate Addict's Diet book. It'scalled The Carbohydrate Addict's Program for Success. (taking charge of your life and your weight).
I also had bought this book called Life is Hard food is Easy and it's REALLY REALLY good!
It really gets into the what is going on when you are doing your emotional eating -like it talks about heart hunger, head hunger etc. That would be a highly recommended book if you are looking at dealing with the emotional issues of why we eat for other reasons than just hunger.

Awesome report on your total loss since last August. Way to keep charing.

We too are in a financial slump. In many ways, it helps with the eating out less and buying only foods you need. I know it's temporary, so keep focusing on all the things you can do around the house and you'll be surprised at how busy you'll stay!
