AM or PM?

I dont' know how people work out in the morning. I tried this morning, and I was exhausted ALL DAY LONG. I came home at noon and took a nap! I've heard people say how invigorating it is, and how energized they feel all day.

Not me.

Tonight I may go for a walk b/c I didn't get as much of a workout in this morning as I would have liked b/c I was dragging ass.

I'm also excited for tonight's dinner... I'm going to make Jerk Chicken w/the Lawry's 30 minute marinade, and stove-top homemade mac & cheese that I got from an old issue of Cooking Light. And for dessert, I'm gonna make these 1 point peanut butter & jelly cookies! I'll be sure to post pictures:)

I know what you mean. I am definitely NOT a morning person! I wish I were though. I would love to be able to get up at the crack of dawn to put in a good workout... and then exercise later in the day, too. But it just ain't gonna happen. hehe

Your plans for dinner sound yummy. I hope you like all the new recipes you're trying. Let us know how everything turned out! I'm especially curious about dessert. hehe

I know people who like to do morning workouts so its just done and over with for the day and you can't make excuses later to get out of it...I think its a great theory, however my lazy butt just isn't getting out of bed a minute earlier than necessary

I love love love mac & cheese but since I'm wathcing calories instead of points, I can't really eat it. But I'm glad it was yummy. :)

I find I have a lot of energy for the day if I exercise in the morning. But if it wiped you out, why not try a 10-15 minute walk first thing in the morning instead of a full-fledge workout? It's something to get your metabolism kick-started for the day. :-)

For me, working out in the a.m. isn't so much of a time or getting tired issue.

it's a "being hungry all day" issue. After I work out, I am ravenous. Even if I eat a healthy snack beforehand.

I noticed on the days I exercised in the morning, I would nosh and nosh and nosh all day. NOT GOOD!

I know for me, it's just easier to work out in the evening...when I get home, I have my dinner and eventually, just go to bed.

You just need to find whatever time works best for you and go for it. Either way--kudos for exercising! woo hoo!
